Dorte Pape
Dorte was born and raised in Denmark.
From Denmark Dorte then moved to Ireland and later to Scotland, where she still lives in Glasgow. Dorte has worked with glass for 10 years, and although she does leaded stained glass work, she mainly works with hot kilns, fusing and slumping glass into decorative objects, all individually designed. Dorte’s work is inspired from nature, and Scotland with its ever changing scenery, weather and light offers plenty of inspiration. Her work is exhibited in galleries in Scotland, England and sometimes in Denmark, and she also does many private commissions.
Kim can make pieces to order from her small platters to the dramatic hanging work.
