Trained in fashion and design at St. Martins school of Art.

Kim's training in textiles is evident in the way she layers wonderful colour and form into her pieces each one displaying a unique expressive message to the viewer.Influenced by the changing landscape of Skye, kim's approach to her work is constantly updated 'I coax each piece into balance.Sometimes a piece just rushes together, sometimes the journey has many phases.There is a moment which arises when I know the balance has passed from silence into expression.'

Kim can make pieces to order from her small platters to the dramatic hanging work.
