Margaretann Bennett RSW
Margaretann’s current practice is deeply rooted in the figurative, creating paintings based on remembrance, loss and the nature of human existence.
She studied at Glasgow School of Art, and independently since graduating in etching and lithography at the Glasgow Print Studio, as well as paper making at Glasgow School of Art, and various courses in corset-making and taxidermy.
Margaretann was awarded The Mabel MacKinlay Award RGI in 2011.
She has exhibited widely including The Scottish Arts Club Edinburgh and the Smithy Gallery Glasgow.
