The Artists

Andrew Squire

Style Guide: Abstract

Trained Manchester school of architecture 1972-79.

Andrew has a style all of his own, witty and off the wall, simple but engaging. His work poses questions not about the meaning of life, a yellow owl sitting on a chair with a lightbulb hanging above, is it serious or just fun.

Andrew's work is presented in a childlike fashion but in a way an adult thinks, he knows when to leave the detail out and doesn't worry about empty spaces.

He exhibits in Scotland and Europe and we usually have his work at the gallery once or twice a year.
