We have exhibited Muriel's work for many years and watched her develop into the very accomplished artist you see now, she has always had a very unique style that is completely her own, a wonderful sense of colour and movement in the way she uses the paint and a great feeling for composition.
She is also concerned with tension between the decorative qualities and the desire to offer a non literal interpretation of modern life.
Muriel uses oil paint on linen and is at home with figurative, still life and landscape work although it is for the former that she has really become extremely well known, she has won many awards and exhibits with the gallery once or twice a year.
